classes
My classes are general level and adaptable for most ages and abilities. Within my vinyasa style of yoga – where we move from one pose directly into the next – I am alignment focused which I firmly believe helps prevent injuries. Using foam blocks and yoga straps, there’s always a variation of a pose that everyone can access. I demonstrate at the front and use hands-on adjustments whilst providing detailed verbal direction so all types of students can easily follow along.
Classes are light-hearted and I always welcome feedback, comments and questions during the sessions so students feel comfortable on their mat. I aim to encourage growth, learning and to deepen students' knowledge of themselves and their bodies. Ensuring everyone feels totally supported in their practice is at the core of my teaching.

Each class finishes with a deep relaxation and students often leave with a great sense of achievement, having accomplished something such as touching their toes for the first time or breathing more deeply than they have done in a long time, through to mastering a more complex pose or gaining confidence when recovering from an injury or ill health.
equipment
You will need to bring your own non-slip yoga mat, two foam blocks and a yoga strap. Yoga is done barefoot and I recommend bringing a blanket or warm clothing for relaxation.
